Spooky Treats, Made Simple

Spooky Treats, Made Simple

Make quick swaps for happy—and healthy—kids this Halloween season. It may feel like annual Halloween festivities equate to constant sugar rushes... but we've created some simple, adorable snacks that'll help your family's oral health (rather than hurt it).

1. Tiny Pumpkins in 30 Seconds = Clementines + Celery

Fruits and veggies never felt so festive! Spice up after-school snacks by peeling clementine oranges and adding a celery "stem" to each one. They're fun to assemble, and maybe even more fun to take apart and eat. Chewing on raw vegetables like celery can boost jaw development, and introducing varied textures like clementines can be a fantastic way to keep picky eating at bay.

2. Ghost Faces = Bananas + Chocolate Chips

Transform your usual banana snack into a spooky, flying ghost. Slice bananas in half and position two chocolate chips pointy-side down as eyes. You can opt for dark chocolate chips over milk chocolate for more antioxidants.

3. No-Brainer Monster Mix = Popcorn + Chocolate Chips + Their Favorite Assortment of Candy

Monster mixes don't need a ton of ingredients! If you have a variety of candy to choose from after Halloween events, some plain popcorn and dark chocolate chips can turn it into a more balanced, filling snack.
